As mentioned in previous March dividend update, I was building some capital to and was eager to make a few additions to the portfolio. I concluded April by buying Gilead Sciences (GILD), which helps with portfolio diversification, as I had no stocks in that sector.
As it now has been 1 year ago since I started this project, I am now able to compare year over year dividend increases. My dividend income from April 2015 to April 2016 has increased by 22.5%.
